I’m excited to share that my book “Arabic Grooves Applied to the Drumset” was born from my passion for rhythm and culture, and from a desire to connect traditional Arabic music and rhythms with the modern drum set in a way that is both practical and musical.
For years, I looked for resources that clearly explained these grooves for drum set players. After spending years performing and touring with Arabic music nearly every week, I realized there wasn’t anything that truly captured the authenticity, feel, and phrasing in a practical, accessible way.
So I decided to create it myself
