This workshop is designed for drummers who want to build a strong technical foundation and achieve greater control, speed, and musical expression on the drumset. Focusing on hand technique and essential rudiments, participants will develop the skills needed to play with precision, efficiency, and confidence across all styles of music.
We’ll look into grip types, stroke types, rebound control, finger technique, Moeller technique, whip motions and articulation, helping you understand how to move more naturally & achieve the control on the drumset without effort. From there, we’ll dive into core rudiments and explore how to apply them creatively around the drumset. Rather than treating rudiments as isolated exercises, this workshop emphasizes musical application. You’ll learn how to incorporate these patterns into grooves, fills, and improvisation, making your playing more fluid and expressive.
Whether you’re looking to improve speed, clean up your technique, or gain new ideas for phrasing, this workshop offers practical tools and concepts you can immediately bring into your practice routine.
